KidVenture (Grades 1-5)

Every Sunday at 11:00am – With Check-In Beginning at 10:45am

In KidVenture we believe that every day God is using kids to tell His story. The Bible tells the adventure of a Savior who constantly pursues us so we know of His love. We say the Bible is like God’s Big Story. Our goal is that kids not only know the stories, but that they understand they are a part of God’s Story. That’s why we say, “Every day I have a part to play in God’s Big Story.”

In large group, kids are engaged in an interactive worship experience that includes games, scripture memorization, science experiments, and creative storytelling. Then, in small groups, our kids see how Biblical principles apply to their own life. Small group coaches guide the kids in hands-on activities and discussions designed to help kids learn to process what God is showing them and how they’ll respond.

KidVenture wants to partner with parents to help kids live out God’s story as an every day adventure. We do this by sharing God’s story with kids, inviting kids into God’s story, and providing resources and tools to equip families as they live out God’s story together.

In KidVenture, we’re not only having fun, we’re on a mission!

KidVenture University

(Grades 1-5) Every Sunday @ 9:30 with check in starting at 9:15 a.m

In KidVenture University, our kids learn more about the Big God Story and how they play a part in God’s story. Together, we journey through the Jesus Storybook Bible, learning God’s story from beginning to end in fun, engaging ways. In KidVenture University, we learn how the stories we learn from the Bible all point to Jesus and God’s story of salvation. We also learn how our own lives can point to Jesus by asking, “what does this story have to do with me, today?”

KidVenture University is a place for kids to discover God’s story in a smaller group setting. What does all this have to do with God’s Big Story and me? Join us and see!

Check-In & Safety

Doors open 15 minutes prior to all services, at which time an adult must check-in their child. You will receive a matching security tag, one for you and one for your child. Matching tags are required to pick-up your child so we know every kid has been safely dismissed.

Safety is important to us. All volunteers working in Family Ministry receive a background check and go through training to ensure that children are in a safe environment while in our services and programming.

What to Expect:

After checking in, kids can choose from various activities during free time:

  • Games
  • Ticket Table:  One ticket is given for bringing a friend, your Bible, weekly God-time, finding the memory verse, or saying the memory verse. Tickets are drawn at the end of the service and winners receive a trip to the prize table!
  • Donut Hole Cafe:  Kids can get a juice box and donut holes during free time.

During service, kids are engaged in an interactive worship experience that includes:

  • Fun Games
  • Large Group Worship
  • Science Experiments
  • Object Lessons
  • Interactive Bible Stories
  • Small Groups

Club 45
Club 45 is a place where 4th & 5th graders can be themselves!
Every Wednesday @ 6:30PM-With Check-In beginning at 6:15PM

Preteens meet every Wednesday night in the Club 45 Room (Rooms 113 & 115) on the lower level from 6:30 – 7:45 pm. Check-in is open at 6:15 pm. In Club 45, we play games, have fun with interactive teaching with Q&A, eat food, and learn how life and faith collide. This year, we’re looking at how life and scripture intersect- learning how God’s Word helps us live our lives in an everyday adventure with Him. Club 45 is a place where 4th and 5th graders can be themselves…come and join us for all the fun!

For security purposes, we ask that you check your child in at Club 45 just as you do on Sunday mornings. As always, if you have any questions our trained team is happy to help!

Venture-On (Grades 1-3) Every Wednesday at 6:30pm – With Check-In Beginning at 6:15pm

Venture-On is a continuation and further discussion from Sunday morning teachings in KidVenture. We believe that church is not done just inside the building. We believe in “venturing-on” outside of the church walls and out into the community to do what God has called us to do, even at a young age.

On Wednesday evenings, we are learning how to “venture-on” and go further in our relationship with Jesus. We do this through learning the importance of prayer, reading God’s Word, serving others, and more. Each month we learn a new spiritual discipline that will help us live out our lives in an everyday adventure with God.
